The third lecture in the series was given by influential musician and producer, Brian Eno, on Tuesday 10th May 2016 in the George Square Lecture Theatre.

Eno began his career in the early 1970s as a founding member of Roxy Music. After going solo, he released a series of electronic and ambient albums as well as producing a number of high profile records.

A restless innovator, he has also created visual, digital and aural artworks, with exhibitions throughout Europe, USA, Japan and Australia. His latest album, Reflection, was released on January 1st 2017. It consists entirely of one long-form composition.

Along with his public lecture, in which he discussed his life and career, the renowned artist also took part in a number of workshops and seminars with students and staff from a variety of programmes at ECA on his visit to Edinburgh.
